The Hebrew word for butterfly is פרפר parpar.
Spring comes early in this part of the Galilee. The flowers blooming in the garden are fighting for space with the wild thistles and mustard greens.
The fresh burst of pinks, whites and yellows is accompanied by the buzzing of bees and the fluttering of butterflies. I prefer the Hebrew word parpar over English word butterfly. If you repeat it quietly it makes you think of the butterfly.
