Discover a dazzing array of wildflowers and bubbling springs on the Golan Heights

One of the things we love best about living in the North of Israel is how close so many beautiful sites are.

A while ago we decided to take the afternoon off so we drove around the Sea of Galilee to Ramot on the eastern side of the Kinneret. It’s only 25 minutes away and a great place to stop for a coffee with a stunning view of the Lake.

From there we continued on to the Gamla Reserve in search for wildflowers blooming at the Daliyot Forest and spring and the Ayit Falls. The weather was a bit cool because we were high up on the Golan, but the dazzling array of flowers, wonderful fresh air and bubbling pure water made it an incredible afternoon.
