PURIM GROGGER FOR YOU

Purim is a joyful Jewish holiday that celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia, as recounted in the Book of Esther.

This year Purim falls on March 14, 2025.

One of the most fun traditions associated with Purim is the grogger, a small, hand-held noise maker.

The grogger is used during the reading of the Megillah (the Book of Esther), where the name of the villain, Haman, is mentioned.

Whenever Haman’s name is read, people shake their groggers to drown out his name. This symbolizes the defeat of evil and adds to the festive atmosphere.

The Purim grogger  can be made from a variety of materials, including wood, plastic, or metal.

It’s a beloved part of the celebration.  Especially for children, who enjoy the noise and excitement it brings to the holiday.

Galilee Green is definitely the best olive oil we have ever had.

And thank you so much for the grogger! My friends will love to see one.
