During the spring days between Purim and Passover, the Galilee fields and hills (and most of the rest of Israel) explode into a glorious palette of colors.

One of my favorites are the wild anemones. Because of their shape and their deep red color, some people mistake these beauties for poppies. Often they are find among natural white wildflowers and the impression is a stunning bouquet.

This short video clip was taken a few minutes from my home in the Yavne’el Valley. It looks more like an Ocean of Anemones! They seem to go on, and on forever.
