chunky guacamole

Try this chunky version of Guacamole for a change!

The avocados are beautiful this time of year in Israel.  They ripen quickly and are perfect with a bit of lemon juice.  I decided to chunk the avocado and prepare a chunky version of Guacamole.

According to Dr. Axe, a leading doctor and health expert, avocados are truly are one of the top super foods to add to your diet.

Avocados taste great! In terms of calories, one medium-size avocado has around 215 total calories. But, don’t let that scare you. Because of the healthy fat, fiber and phyto-chemical content, this super nutrient-dense food will only help you lose weight. And who doesn’t want to lose weight?

Galilee Green Chunky Guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 hard boiled egg sliced in an egg slicer
  • 1 tomato in chunks
  • ½ red pepper in chunks
  • 1 cucumber in chunks
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder and hot pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons of Galilee Green Olive Oil

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. ENJOY!

This recipe is perfect any time of the day.  I love it for breakfast!!
