Here’s an amazing treat that you can just snack on, or serve as a side dish at your Shabbat table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag frozen cauliflower, DO NOT DEFROST
  • 4 tablespoons Galilee Green Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic granules

The above ingredients taste fabulous… if you’d like to try a spicier Israeli version, add in the following to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot paprika

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees C (570 F)
  • Line a large baking pan with parchment paper
  • Open the bag of frozen cauliflower, and spread evenly on the pan
  • Drizzle Galilee Green Olive Oil over all the pieces
  • Sprinkle spices over the oily cauliflower
  • Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy

Tastes amazing straight out of the oven! See if you can even wait for it to cool off! Betcha can’t!

Reheats on a Shabbat Warming Tray beautifully. Simply store in a single layer in the pan, and then place on the Warming Tray (plata) uncovered.
