There is nothing better to add some zest to your meals than fresh lemon – especially when you’ve just picked it from the tree… and extra especially when it’s from your own garden in the Land of Israel!
I often serve green beans as a side dish with chicken, fish or meat. But this time the fresh zest and juice from the lemon and the garlic took this staple dish to a new level. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of fresh or frozen green beans
- two cloves garlic diced
- zest of one small lemon
- pinch of salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Galilee Green Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- Add garlic and lemon zest and cook slowly over low heat until light brown.
- Add a pinch of salt (or to taste).
