When she first signed up in 2015, Galilee Green Subscriber Judy Richman from Huntley Nebraska asked us for a recipe for Challah Bread. There are many different recipes for Challah. We have at least three of them on our site.
And their are many ways to prepare it… braided, plain, rolls.
We sent Judy this simple recipe below and the photo above is how her first Challahs (Chalot in Hebrew) turned out! Great work Judy!

Ingredients:
Makes 3 large Challahs
6 cups flour – 3 cups whole wheat and 3 cups white
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
