Although Yavne’el is mentioned as a border town in tribal area of Naphtali in the book of Joshua, the modern village of Yavne’el was founded in 1901.
The struggling Jewish pioneers began with a large tract of land purchased by Baron Edmond de Rothschild from the Ottoman Emperor and managed to build the first hut for habitation in 1902. It was pretty dismal looking but a huge milestone for those dedicated to fulfill the promise of the Jewish people coming back to the promised Land.
Today over 3000 people live in our historic village which is the home to Galilee Green. Here is my neighbor’s home built not too far from where that original hut stood.
We truly are living in a generation of miracles!

Love Israel and the wonderful, first class products they produce! This isn’t some conglomeration of oils from different places, but honest, pure olive oil like our ancestors enjoyed with all the health benefits as well!
