Modiin and its neighboring sister city Modiin Illit are situated near the site of the biblical city of Modiin. It was home to the Maccabees of the Chanukah story. Their revolt against the Greek occupiers began here.
The area is dotted with many archeological sites. In some cases construction needed to be paused or diverted while unearthed villages were excavated.

My Unchanging All-Powerful Sovereign God is Totally in control of the world’s destiny. He is the God of The Nation of Israel and its people. He has no Plan B! He overlooks Nothing!! I read in His Written Word-The Holy Bible- that the Nation of Israel may have lots to face with enemies that have desires to just “wipe her off the map” completely but the good news is that Israel is a “Winner” and her story is not finished yet. President Biden’s visit was a miserable failure by embracing Israel’s enemies and not standing firm with Israel.
