A while ago, after doing some shopping in Tiberias on gorgeous sunny Wednesday, I decided to take an impromptu trip to the Agamon Hula Nature Reserve about one hour north of us.
Located north of Tiberias and Lake Kinneret in the Hula Valley, this is one of the world’s foremost bird-watching sites. Situated on the Syrian-Afro migratory path, over 500 million birds visit a year!
You can rent golf carts and bicycles to travel around the 9 kilometers of paved trail and watch the birds and other wildlife according to season.
Here’s some amazing photos from that day.

Beautiful! Just back from several weeks in Israel: Jerusalem, Samaria, Galilee, south (Sde Boker). Enjoyed our stay in Tiberius. Need to rent bicycles to venture around the Kinneret. Would like to spend time in the Hula Valley, viewing the Sanctuary & birds.
What is that bird??

Thanks for your feedback and come back soon!
Not sure which bird you are referring to?
Hope you will bless us by trying some of our olive oil 🙂
