About Rabbi Shmuel Veffer
Shmuel Teaching Torah
Rabbi Veffer is most widely known as the inventor of the KosherLamp and producer of Galilee Green Olive Oil.
However he has been a leader in Jewish education and outreach for over 25 years. His breadth of experience in so many areas and his clear articulate delivery make complex ideas seem simple.
Reb Shmuel brings the world, and world events into focus through the lens of Torah. He has spoken around the world from Cambridge University, to the Old City of Jerusalem to both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences.
Rabbi Veffer has combined his Mathematics and Computer Science Degree from the University of Waterloo and scientific background with his Torah knowledge and Rabbinic Ordination from Aish HaTorah to deliver seminars throughout North America. He has been interviewed by National Public Radio and has been featured in the New York Times, the National Post.

Born and raised in Canada, he has lived in Israel over 25 years.
He served in the IDF. A father of six, he currently lives in Yavne’el in the Galilee.
